"Bad" inbetweens

These drawn animations use drawings from the 1st week where I was looking at the idea of bad inbetweening. In this case drawing the line exactly half way between the lines of the frame either side rather than thinking of them in terms of movement.

I thought that anything more complicated than the face would be too difficult to try to animate like this so started to think of similar ways that would be easier. For this I ended up merging them through a straight line and also thought of the fact it could be used to merge one object into another.

Because these were both drawn quite roughly, it's not particularly clear, but you can just make out the slifing effect that it results in.
